Replacement of Seat Belts
Theseatbeltsaredesignedtobeused
by one seat occupant only. The use of
a seat belt by more than one person
increases the levels of injury which
may be sustained in the event of an
accident.
It is recommended that all seat belts
be inspected periodically for wear or
damage of any kind. Parts of the sys-
tem that are damaged should be re-
placed as soon as possible. Under no
circumstances must any part of the
seat belt assemblies be dismantled or
repaired.
The entire seat belt assembly or as-
semblies should be replaced if the
vehicle has been involved in an acci-
dent even if no damage is evident.
Additional questions concerning seat
belt operation should be directed to
Hyundai authorised repairer.
