Hatchback door Wiper and
Washer (Not all models)
Do not operate the washer continu-
ously for more than 15 seconds or
when the fluid reservoir is empty; this
could damage the system. Do not op-
erate the wiper when the window is
dry;thiscanresultinscratchingaswell
as premature wiper blade wear.
For the reason stated above,do not
operate the washer when the washer
fluid reservoir is empty.

Thevariableintermittentwipefacilityis
operated by moving the windscreen
wiper switch to the first position. The
time period between wipes is adjusted
by moving the rotary control on the
windscreenwiperswitchbarrel.Thisis
also varied automatically depending
on your road speed.

: The hatchback door wiper
starts to operate three times
after the washer fluid sprays
onto the rear window.
2.OFF
3.INT: Theintervalbetweenwipesop-
erates every 5 seconds inter-
mittently.
4.ON
: The hatchback door wiper
starts to operate continuously.
:The washerfluidwillbesprayed
onto the hatchback door and
the wiper operates while the
hatchback door wiper barrel is
placed in this position.
