afterthetirepressuresareadjusted,there
maybeatirepuncture.Replacethe
puncturedtirewiththetemporaryspare
tire(page7-6).
qHeadlightHigh-BeamIndicator
Light
NOTE
Atirepressuresensorisnotinstalledto
thetemporarysparetire.Thewarning
lightwillflashcontinuouslywhilethe
temporarysparetireisbeingused.
Thislightindicatesoneoftwothings:
Thehigh-beamheadlightsareon.

Theturnsignalleverisintheflash-to-
passposition.
l
Warninglightflashes
Whenthewarninglightflashes,theremay
beasystemmalfunction.Consultan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.
qShiftPositionIndicatorLight
(AutomaticTransaxle)
Thisindicatestheselectedshiftposition
whentheignitionswitchisintheON
position.
qSecurityIndicatorLight
Thisindicatorlightstartsflashingevery2
secondswhentheignitionswitchisturned
fromtheONtotheACCpositionandthe
immobilizersystemisarmed.
Thelightstopsflashingwhentheignition
switchisturnedtotheONpositionwith
thecorrectignitionkey.
Atthistime,theimmobilizersystemis
disarmedandthelightilluminatesfor
about3secondsandthengoesout.
Iftheenginedoesn'tstartwiththecorrect
ignitionkey,andthesecurityindicator
lightkeepsilluminatingorflashing,the
systemmayhaveamalfunction.Consult
anAuthorizedMazdaDealer.
