makesureyousupporttheseatback
withyourhand.Iftheseatbackisnot
supportedwithyourhand,itwillflip
forwardsuddenlyandcouldcause
injurytothefingerthatpushestherear
seatbackknobdown.
Makesuretheseatbeltsarefully
pulledoutfromundertheseatbacks.

Pullonthetopoftheseatbacksfrom
insidethevehicletomakesuretheyare
locked.
Fastenthecenter-rearlap/shoulderbelt
andcheckthatallseatbeltsarerouted
properlyforpassengeruse(page2-18).

Unfastenthelapportionofthecenter-
rearseatbelt(page2-18).
WARNING
CAUTION
Alwaysunfastenthelapportionofthe
beltbeforefoldingtherear-left
seatback.Leavingthelapportionofthe
beltfastenedcouldcausedamagetothe
seatbelt,buckleandseatback.
Alwaysmakesuretheseatbeltsare
fullypulledoutfromunderthe
seatbacks:
Aseatbeltcaughtunderaseatback
aftertheseatbackisreturnedtoits
uprightpositionisdangerous.Ina
collisionorsuddenstop,theseatbelt
cannotprovideadequateprotection.
