lockthetiresandyoumustuseaspecial
keytounlockthem.Thiskeyisattached
tothelugwrenchandisstoredwiththe
sparetire.Registerthemwiththelock
manufacturerbyfillingoutthecard
providedinthegloveboxandmailingit
intheaccompanyingenvelope.Ifyoulose
thiskey,consultanAuthorizedMazda
Dealerorusethelockmanufacturer's
orderform,whichiswiththeregistration
card.
1. Placethekeyontopofthenut,andbe
suretoholdthekeysquaretoit.Ifyou
holdthekeyatanangle,youmay
damagebothkeyandnut.Don'tusea
powerimpactwrench.

Placethelugwrenchontopofthekey,
applypressure,andturnitclockwise.

Removedirtandgrimefromthe
mountingsurfacesofthewheeland
hub,includingthehubbolts,witha
cloth.

Obtainthekeyfortheantitheftlugnut.
WARNING
Placethekeyontopofthenut,andbe
suretoholdthekeysquaretoit.Ifyou
holdthekeyatanangle,youmay
damagebothkeyandnut.Don'tusea
powerimpactwrench.
Makesurethemountingsurfacesof
thewheel,hubandlugnutsareclean
beforechangingorreplacingtires:
Whenchangingorreplacingatire,
notremovingdirtandgrimefromthe
mountingsurfacesofthewheel,hub
andhubboltsisdangerous.Thelug
nutscouldloosenwhiledrivingand
causethetiretocomeoff,resultingin
anaccident.

Placethelugwrenchontopofthekey
andapplypressure.Turnthewrench
counterclockwise.
