traction. Readthefollowing beforeusingfour-wheel
drive.
Thetransfer caseknobis
locatedtotheleftofthe
instrument panelcluster.
Notice: Drivingonclean,drypavementin
Four-Wheel-Drive HighorFour-Wheel-Drive Lowfor
anextended periodoftimemaycausepremature
wearonyourvehicle's  powertrain. Donotdriveon
clean,drypavementinFour-Wheel-Drive   Highor
Four-Wheel-Drive Lowforextended periodsoftime.
Whiledrivingoncleandrypavementandduringtight
turns,youmayexperience  avibration inthesteering
system.
Usethisdialtoshiftintoandoutoffour-wheel     drive.
Youcanchooseamongfivedrivingsettings:
ThevehiclehasStabiliTrak®.Shifting   into
Four-Wheel-Drive LowwillturnTractionControland
StabiliTrak®off.SeeStabiliTrak   Systemintheindexof
theOwnerManualformoreinformation.
Indicator lightsintheswitches  showyouwhichsetting
youarein.Theindicator   lightswillcomeonbriefly  when
youturnontheignition   andthelastchosensettingwill
stayon.Ifthelightsdonotcomeon,youshouldtake
thevehicletoyourdealer/retailer   forservice. An
indicator lightwillflashwhileshifting.  Itwillstayon
whentheshiftiscompleted.   Ifforsomereasonthe
transfer casecannotmakearequested  shift,itwill
returntothelastchosensetting.

FrontAxle
Thefrontaxleengagesanddisengages   automatically
whenyoushiftthetransfer   case.Somedelayforthe
axletoengageordisengage   isnormal.
