Removethevalvecapfromthevalvecapstem.
Activate theTPMSsensorbyincreasing  or
decreasing thetire'sairpressure  forfiveseconds,
oruntilahornchirpsounds.Thehornchirp,which
maytakeupto30secondstosound,confirmsthat
thesensoridentification  codehasbeenmatchedto
thistireandwheelposition.
TireInspectionandRotation
Tiresshouldberotatedevery5,000to8,000miles
(8
000to13000km).
Anytimeyounoticeunusualwear,rotateyourtiresas
soonaspossibleandcheckwheelalignment.    Also
checkfordamagedtiresorwheels.See“WhenItIs
TimeforNewTires”and“WheelReplacement”inthe
Indexoftheownermanualformoreinformation.

Proceedtothepassenger  sidefronttire,and
repeattheprocedure  inStep5.

indicate thesensoridentification codehasbeen
matchedtothedriversidereartire,andtheTPMS
sensormatching processisnolongeractive.The
TIRELEARNINGACTIVEmessageontheDIC
displayscreengoesoff.
