StabiliTrak®off.SeeStabiliTrak®Systemintheindexof

drivinginmoststreetandhighwaysituations.    Thefront
axleisnotengagedintwo-wheel   drive.Thissettingalso
provides thebestfueleconomy.
AUTO(Automatic Four-Wheel Drive): Thissettingis
idealforusewhenroadsurfacetraction    conditions are
variable. WhendrivingyourvehicleinAUTO,thefront
axleisengaged,  butthevehicle's powerisprimarily
senttotherearwheels.Whenthevehicle's    software
determines aneedformoretraction,  thesystemwill
transfer morepowertothefrontwheels.Drivinginthis
moderesultsinslightly  lowerfueleconomythan
Two-WheelDriveHigh.

Shifting thetransfer casetoN(Neutral)  cancause
thevehicletorollevenifthetransmission    isin
P(Park).Youorsomeoneelsecouldbeseriously
injured. Besuretosettheparkingbrakebefore
placingthetransfer  caseinN(Neutral).  See

settingalsoengagesthefrontaxletohelpdrivethe
vehicle. Thisisthebestsettingtousewhen
plowingsnow.
N(Neutral): Shiftthevehicle's  transfer caseto
N(Neutral) onlywhentowingthevehicle.   See
