You can turn the tap e player ON by inserting a cassette or
activating the MODE button (with a cassette in the rad io),
but only when the ignition and rad io are on.
Selective Music Search
Press the SEEK button up or down to move the track
nu mber to skip forw ard or backw ard 1 to 7 selections.
Press the SEEK button once to move 1 selection, twice to
move 2 selections, etc.
Each time a cassette is inserted the tap e player will begin
playing on the side of the cassette that is facing up in the
player.
Fast Forw ard And Rew ind Button s
Pressing the TUNE button up or down momentarily 4
activates Fast Forw ard or Rewind and makes the direc-
tional arrow s appear on the display.
Music Search
Pressing the SEEK button while playing a tap e will start
the Music Search mode. Press the SEEK button up for the
next selection on the tap e and down to retu rn to the
beginning of the current selection, or retu rn to the
beginning of the previou s selection if the tap e is within
the first 5 second s of the current selection.
To stop Fast Forw ard or Rewind , press the TUNE button
again.
Time Button
Press the time button to toggle betw een station frequ ency
and time of day.
The SEEK sym bol appears on the display when Music
Search is in operation. Music Search shu ts off autom ati-
cally when a selection has been located .
Pressing this button while playing a cassette tap e will
change the side of the tap e being played .
