THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE

NOTE: On vehicles equ ipped with Remote Keyless
Entry (RKE), there will not be a door lock cylind er on the
front passenger door, rear doors, or rear swing gate.
Therefore, you will be unable to disarm the system with
a manu al unlock of the passenger or rear doors.
REAR SWING GATE
NOTE: The master key that is used to start the vehicle is
also used to lock or unlock the front doors, and open the 2
rear swing gate.
To unlock the rear swing gate, insert the key into the lock
(if equ ipped) and turn counter clockw ise. The swing gate
flip-up wind ow will unlatch and the swing gate will
unlock.
The Security Alarm System is designed to protect you r
vehicle; how ever, you can create cond itions where the
system will arm unexp ected ly. If you rem ain in the
vehicle and lock the doors with the transm itter, once the
system is arm ed (after 16 second s), when you pull the
door hand le to exit the alarm will sou nd . If this occurs,
press the “Unlock” button on the rem ote keyless entry
transm itter to disarm the system . You may also acciden-
tally disarm the system by unlocking the driver’s door
with the key and then locking it. The door will be locked
but the Security Alarm will not arm .
WARN ING!
To avoid injury stan d back when opening. Glass will
autom atically rise.
On vehicles equ ipped with power locks, the swing gate
can also be unlocked using the rem ote keyless entry, or
by activating the power door lock switches located on the
front doors.
