The overhead lights will autom atically turn off in abou t 8
minu tes if a door is left open or the dimmer control is left
in the dome light position. Turn the ignition switch ON to
restore the overhead light operation.
Dimmer Con trol
With the park lights or head lights on, rotating the control
for the dimmer switch on the multi-function control lever
upward will increase the brightness of the instru ment
panel lights. Rotating the control completely upward
turns on the dome light.
Rear Cargo Ligh t

The rear cargo light inclu des an ind epend ent “On/ Off”
switch, which when “off” will not allow the illumination
of any interior lighting when the rear swing gate or
flipper glass is opened . All other method s of turning the
interior lighting on/ off will function norm ally regard less
of the rear cargo light switch position.
Daytim e Brigh tness Featu re
Certain components (odometer, rad io, etc.) can be illumi-
nated at full brightness during the daytim e. This can be
help ful when driving with you r head lights on during the
daytim e such as in a parad e or a funeral procession. To
activate this featu re, rotate the multi-function control
lever one detent lower than the dome light.
