Temperatu re Con trol
used to tem porarily block out outsid e odors, smoke, and
dust. Slight airflow from the defrost outlet, located at the
base of the wind shield , may be noticed .
The degree of comfort can be selected by rotating the
tem peratu re control knob on the right. The coldest tem -
peratu re setting is fully counterclockw ise and the warm -
est setting fully clockw ise. The knob can be positioned at
any detent.
Norma l A/C
Cool air flows throu gh the outlets located in the
instru ment panel. Slight airflow from the defrost
outlet, located at the base of the wind shield , may be 4
noticed .
Mode Selection
The mode selector (the center rotary knob) can be set in
any of the follow ing positions:
Bi-Level A/C
OFF
Cool air flows throu gh the outlets located in the
instru ment panel, on the floor, and in the rear of
the center console. Slight airflow from the defrost outlet,
located at the base of the wind shield , may be noticed .
This position turns off the blow er motor and outsid e
air will not pass throu gh any outlets.
Max A/C - Recircula tion
Cool air flows throu gh the outlets located in the
instru ment panel. Use this mode to rap idly cool
the insid e of the vehicle. This featu re allow s for
recircu lation of interior air only. This mode can also be
Bi-Level
