2. Removeandreplacethebatteries.Avoidtouchingthe
new batteries with your fingers. Skin oils may cause
battery deterioration. If you touch the battery, clean it
withrubbingalcohol.

Prythetransmitterhalvesapartwithadimeorsimilar
object. Make sure not to damage the rubber gasket
materialduringremoval.
3. Reassemble the transmitter case. Snap the halves
togetherandtesttransmitteroperation.
SECURITYALARMSYSTEM—IFEQUIPPED
This system monitors the vehicle doors, swing gate,
swing gate flip-up window, and ignition for unautho-
rizedoperation.Whenthealarmisactivated,thesystem
provides both audible and visual signals. The horn,
headlights,andtaillightswillsound/flashrepeatedlyfor
three minutes. If disturbance is still present (driver’s
door, passenger door, other doors, ignition) after three
minutes, the headlights and tail lights will flash for an
additional15minutes.
