RearCenterLap/ShoulderBeltRetractor
Lock-Out
WARNING!
This feature is designed to lock the retractor whenever
the65%rearseatbackisnotfullylatched.Thisprevents
someonefromwearingtherearcenterlap/shoulderbelt
whentherearseatbackisnotfullylatched.
Therearcenterlap/shoulderbeltisequippedwitha
lock-outfeaturetoensurethattherearseatbackisin
the fully upright and locked position when occu-
pied. If the rear seat back is not fully upright and
locked and the rear center lap/shoulder belt can be
pulledoutoftheretractor,thevehicleshouldimme-
diatelybetakentoyourdealerforservice.Failureto
follow this warning could result in serious or fatal
injury.

NOTE:
If the rear center lap/shoulder belt cannot be pulled
out,checkthattherearseatbackisfullylatched.
If the rear seat back is properly latched and the rear
centerlap/shoulderbeltstillcannotbepulledout,the
Automatic-Locking Retractor (ALR) system may be
activated.Toresetthisfeatureyoumustletallofthe
beltwebbingreturnintotheretractor.Youwillnotbe
abletopulloutmorewebbinguntilallofthewebbing
hasbeenreturnedbackintotheretractor.
AdjustableUpperShoulderBeltAnchorage
In the front seat positions, the shoulder belt can be
adjustedupwardordownwardtopositionthebeltaway
fromyourneck.Tolowertheshoulderbeltheight,push
the button and slide the height adjuster down. To raise
