to remain in puddles on the ground. If ingested by a
child,contactaphysicianimmediately.Cleanupground
spillsimmediately.
WARNING!
The warning words DO NOT OPEN HOT on the
coolingsystempressurecapareasafetyprecaution.
Never add antifreeze/coolant when the engine is
overheated.Donotloosenorremovethecaptocool
anoverheatedengine.Heatcausespressuretobuild
up in the cooling system. To prevent scalding or
injury, do not remove the pressure cap while the
systemishotorunderpressure.
EngineCoolantLevel
The coolant recovery bottle provides a quick visual
methodfordeterminingthattheantifreeze/coolantlevel
isadequate.Withtheengineidling,andwarmtonormal
operatingtemperature,theleveloftheantifreeze/coolant
shouldbebetweentherangesindicatedonthebottle.
Theradiatornormallyremainscompletelyfull,sothereis
no need to remove the radiator cap unless checking for
antifreeze/coolantfreezepointorreplacingcoolant.Ad-
viseyourserviceattendantofthis.Aslongastheengine
operating temperature is satisfactory, the coolant bottle
needonlybecheckedonceamonth.
