Use only manufacturer’s recommended fluid, refer to
Fluids, Lubricants, and Genuine Parts for correct fluid
type.
Front/RearAxleFluid
The front axle has a threaded “fill plug” on the cover
plate,thecarrier.andathreaded“drainplug”onthebottomsideof     7
AddingFluid
Onlyatfillerholeuntilfluidrunsoutofthehole,when
thevehicleisinalevelposition.
FluidLevelCheck
Lubricantshouldbe1/2Љ(1cm)belowtheoilfillhole.
Drain
First remove fill plug (B), then drain plug (C). Recom-
mended tightening torque for drain and fill plugs is
15–25
ft.lbs.(20–34N·m).
