Bulb replacement
Headlight bulb
Disconnect the multi-plug (5) and remove the
rubber cover. Unhook the spring clip and
withdraw the bulb.
Replace the bulb (the larger of the three tabs
uppermost) and secure the spring clip.
Replace the rubber cover, pressing the centre
firmlyto seal around the electricalcontacts of
the bulb, then refit the multi-plug.
NOTE: Do not touch the bulb glass with your
fingers. If necessary, clean the bulb with
methylated spirits.
WARNING
ALWAYS fit headlight bulbs and light units
with the same Watt value as the original
specification (see ’Replacement bulbs’).
Fitting a higher rated bulb may result in
damage to the ’dim-dip’ system.
