Fit the new battery, ensuring that correct
Panasonic CR2032 replacement battery
(available from a Land Rover dealer) and
adopt the following replacement procedure:
polarityis maintained (positive (’+’) side
facing up). Finger marks will adverselyaffect
batterylife; if possible, avoid touching the flat
surfaces of the batteryand wipe them clean
before fitting.

Unlockthe vehicle and disarm the alarm
system.

turn to position ’0’and remove the key.
Turn the starter switch to position ’II’, then

then operate the PADLOCKsymbol button at
least four times within range of the vehicle to
resynchronise the handset.
