BEFOREreplacing a handset battery,
disarm the alarm and unlock the
doors.
DONOTremove an expired battery
until you are readyto installthe
replacement.
The engine will immobilise five
minutes after the key is removed
from the starter switch. If handset
batteryreplacement is NOT
completed within this period, the
emergencykey access code will
have to be entered before the
handset can be synchronised.
The handset batteryshould last for
approximatelythree years dependent upon
use. When the batteryneeds replacing it will
be apparent from the following symptoms:

The handset will only work everyother
operation while disarming.
HANDSETBATTERY

The direction indicator lights will not flash
when the alarm is disarmed.
