Check the oil levelat least every400 km
(250
miles) when the engine is HOTand with
the vehicle resting on levelground.
Switch off the engine and let the vehicle stand
for five minutes to allow the oil to drain back
into the sump. Withdrawthe dipstickand wipe
the blade clean and then fully reinsert the
dipstickand withdraw again to checkthe level,
which should NEVER be allowed to fall below
the lower mark on the dipstick.
To top-up, unscrew the oil filler cap and add
oil to maintain the levelbetween the UPPER
and LOWER marks on the dipstick.
