seatbacktoensurethatithasfullylatched.Anunlatchedseatmay
becomedangerousintheeventofasuddenstoporcollision.

Removetheheadrestraints(if
equipped)oftherearseatsand
stowthemonthefloorbehindthe
frontseats.
Pushtheunlockingcontrolonthe
rearseatbackandfoldtherear
seatbackforward.
Sedan
Removetheheadrestraints(if
equipped)oftherearseatsand
stowthemonthefloorbehindthe
frontseats.
Pulloneorbothoftheunlocking
controlsintheluggagecompartment
andfoldtherearseatbackforward.
Returningtheseatbacktotheuprightposition
Foldbacktheseatbackuntilitlockswithadistinct“click.”Donotplace
anyobjectsbehindtheseatwhichcouldpreventtheseatfromlocking.
Whenreturningtheseatsbacktotheiroriginalpositions,make
suretheyarefullylockedandthatthesafetyrestraintsare
positionedinfrontoftheseatback.Reinstallheadrestraints(if
equipped).
