Gearshiftwarningchime(automatictransaxleonly):Soundswhen
thegearshiftleverisnotinP(Park)andthedriver’sdoorisopened.
GAUGES
Speedometer:Indicatesthe
currentvehiclespeed.
Enginecoolanttemperature
gauge:Indicatesenginecoolant
temperature.Atnormaloperating
temperature,theneedlewillbein
thenormalrange.Ifitentersthe
redsection,theengineis
overheating.Stopthevehicleas
soonassafelypossible,switch
offtheengineandlettheenginecool.Ifitenterstheredsection
andtheCheckEngineindicatorlightilluminates,refertoHowfailsafe
coolingworksintheMaintenanceandSpecificationschapter.
Neverremovethecoolantreservoircapwhiletheengineis
runningorhot.
