Driver Controls
LIFTGATE (WAGON ONLY)
Youcanopenandclosetheliftgatefromoutsideofthevehicle.
•
Toopentheliftgate,unlockthe
wagon(withthepowerdoorlocks
ortheremoteentrytransmitter)
andpushthebuttonnexttothe
licenseplate.
•
Toclosetheliftgate,grabthepull
handle(ifequipped)andpullthe
liftgatedown.Ifthetailgate
doesn’tcloseduetoaload,do
notusethepullhandletotiethe
liftgatedown.
•
Tolocktheliftgate,usethepowerdoorlocks,ortheremoteentry
transmittertolockthewagon.
Donotleavetheliftgateopenwhiledriving.Doingsocouldcauseserious
damagetotheliftgateanditscomponentsaswellasallowingcarbon
monoxidetoenterthevehicle.
Makesurethattheliftgatedoorisclosedtopreventexhaust
fumesfrombeingdrawnintothevehicle.Thiswillalsoprevent
passengersandcargofromfallingout.Ifyoumustdrivewiththe
liftgatedooropen,keeptheventsopensooutsideaircomesintothe
vehicle.
