atleastsomeofthetireshaveexceededtheirabilitytogripthe
road;thismayleadtoanincreasedriskoflossofvehicle

experienceasevereroadevent,SLOWDOWN.
IfafailureisdetectedintheESCsystem,andtheESCbuttonhasnot
beenpushed,thewarningindicatorlightintheinstrumentclusterwill
stayon.Ifthewarningindicatorlightintheinstrumentclusterremains
onwhiletheengineisrunning,havethesystemservicedbyan
authorizeddealerimmediately.
STEERING
YourvehicleisequippedwithanElectricPower-AssistedSteering
(EPAS)system.Thereisnofluidreservoirtocheckorfill.
Ifyourvehicleloseselectricalpowerwhileyouaredriving(orifthe
ignitionisturnedoff),youcansteerthevehiclemanually,butittakes
moreeffort.Underextremeusageconditions,thesteeringeffortmay
increase.Thisoccurstopreventoverheatingandpermanentdamageto
yoursteeringsystem.Ifthisshouldoccur,youwillneitherlosetheability
tosteerthevehiclemanuallynorwillitcausepermanentdamage.
Typicalsteeringanddrivingmaneuverswillallowthesystemtocooland
steeringassistwillreturntonormal.
