IfyouwouldliketohaveyourIntegratedKeyheadTransmitters
reprogrammedbecauseyoulostone,orwouldliketobuyadditional
IKTs,youcaneitherreprogramthemyourself,ortakeallIKTstoyour
authorizeddealerforreprogramming.
HowtoreprogramyourIntegratedKeyheadTransmitters(IKTs)
ToprogramanewIntegratedKeyheadTransmitteryourself,referto
ProgrammingsparekeysintheSecuriLock௢passiveanti-theft
sectionofthischapter.Note:AtleasttwoIKTsarerequiredtoperform
thisprocedureyourself.
Illuminatedentry
Theinteriorlampsandpuddlelamps(ifequipped)illuminatewhenthe
IntegratedKeyheadTransmitterorthekeylessentrysystemkeypadis
usedtounlockthedoor(s).
Theilluminatedentrysystemwillturnofftheinteriorlightsif:

theignitionisturnedtothe3(RUN)position,or
theIntegratedKeyheadTransmitterlockcontrolispressed,or
thevehicleislockedusingthekeylessentrykeypad(ifequipped),or
after25secondsofillumination.
Theinsidelightswillnotturnoffif:

theyhavebeenturnedonwiththedimmercontrol,or
anydoorisopen.

Perimeterlampsilluminatedentry
WiththeIntegratedKeyheadTransmittersystem,thefollowingitemswill
illuminatewhenthe
(unlock)controlonthetransmitterispressed:

Thelampswillautomaticallyturnoff:

Note:Onsomevehicles,theperimeterlampsilluminatedentryfeature
willnotactivateindaylightconditions.
