Deactivating/activatingperimeterlampsilluminatedentry
Youmayenable/disablethisfeaturebyhavingyourvehicleservicedby
yourauthorizeddealer.
Youmayalsoperformthefollowingpowerdoorlocksequenceto
enable/disabletheperimeterlampsfeature.Note:Beforestarting,ensure
theignitionisinthe1(LOCK)positionandallvehicledoorsareclosed.
YoumustcompleteSteps1–5within30secondsortheprocedurewill
havetoberepeated.Iftheprocedureneedstoberepeated,waita
minimumof30secondsbeforebeginningagain.

TheignitionmustbeOFFto
beginthesequence.
2.
Placethekeyintheignitionand
turntheignitiontothe3(RUN)
position.

Pressthepowerdoorunlock
controlonthedoorpanelthree
times.
Turntheignitionfromthe3
(RUN)positiontothe1(LOCK)
position.
5.
6.
Pressthepowerdoorunlockcontrolonthedoorpanelthreetimes.
Turntheignitionbacktothe3(RUN)position.Thehornwillchirp
onetimetoconfirmprogrammingmodehasbeenenteredandis
active.
7.
Pressthepowerdoorunlockcontroltwicewithin5seconds.Note:
Thehornwillchirponcetoindicatetheperimeterlightingfeature
hasbeendeactivated.Thehornwillchirponceandhonkonce(one
shortandonelong)toindicatetheperimeterlightingfeaturehas
beenactivated.
8.
Turntheignitiontothe1(LOCK)positiontoexittheprocedure.
Note:Thehornwillchirponcetoconfirmtheprocedureis
complete.
Illuminatedexit
•
Theinteriorlightswillilluminatewhenthekeyisremovedfromthe
ignition.
Thelampsautomaticallyturnoffafter25seconds.Thedomeandcargo
lampcontrolsmustnotbesettotheOFFpositionfortheilluminated
exitsystemtooperate.
