Yourvehiclemaybeequippedwithaconventionalsparetirethatis
differentinoneormoreofthefollowing:type,brand,size,speedrating
andtreaddesign.Ifthisisthecase,thisdissimilarsparetireisstillrated
foryourvehicleloads(GAWRandGVWR).Thistemporarysparetireis
notequippedwithaTirePressureMonitorSystem(TPMS)sensor.
Note:Thetirepressuremonitoringsystem(TPMS)indicatorlightwill
illuminatewhenthespareisinuse.Torestorethefullfunctionalityof
theTPMSsystem,allroadwheelsequippedwiththetirepressure
monitoringsensorsmustbemountedonthevehicle.
Haveaflattireservicedbyanauthorizeddealerinordertoprevent
damagetotheTPMSsensor,refertoTirePressureMonitoringSystem
(TPMS)intheTires,Wheels,andLoadingchapter.Replacethespare
tirewitharoadtireassoonaspossible.Duringrepairingorreplacingof
theflattire,havetheauthorizeddealerinspecttheTPMSsensorfor
damage.
WARNING: Theuseoftiresealantsmaydamageyourtires.The
useoftiresealantsmayalsodamageyourTirePressure
MonitoringSystemandshouldnotbeused.
WARNING: RefertoTirePressureMonitoringSystem(TPMS)
intheTire,WheelsandLoadingchapterforimportant
information.Ifthetirepressuremonitorsensorbecomes
damaged,itwillnolongerfunction.
Dissimilarsparetire/wheelinformation
WARNING: Failuretofollowtheseguidelinescouldresultinan
