WARNING:Ifafailurehasbeendetectedwithinthe
AdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡system,theЉslidingcarЉicon
will
illuminatesteadily.VerifythattheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡systemis
notmanuallydisabled(pushtheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡“Off“
buttonlocatedonthecenteroftheinstrumentpanel).IftheЉsliding
carЉicon
stillilluminatessteadily,havethesystemservicedbyan
authorizeddealerimmediately.Operatingyourvehiclewith
AdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡disabledcouldleadtoanincreasedriskof
lossofvehiclecontrol,vehiclerollover,personalinjuryanddeath.
TheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡systemprovidesthefollowingstability
enhancementfeaturesforcertaindrivingsituations:

TractionControl(TCS),whichfunctionstohelpavoiddrive-wheel
spinandlossoftraction.
ElectronicStabilityControl(ESC),whichfunctionstohelpavoidskids
orlateralslides
RollStabilityControl™(RSC௡),whichfunctionstohelpavoida
vehicleroll-over.
TheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡systemautomaticallyenableseachtime
theengineisstarted.AllfeaturesoftheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡system
(TCS,ESC,andRSC௡)areactiveandmonitorthevehiclefromstart-up.
However,thesystemwillonlyinterveneifthedrivingsituationrequires
it.
TheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡
systemincludesanAdvanceTrac௡
withRSC௡ЉOffЉbuttononthe
instrumentpanelbelowtheclimate
control,anda“slidingcar”icon
intheinstrumentcluster.The
“slidingcar”icon
intheinstrumentclusterwillilluminatetemporarily
duringstart-upaspartofanormalsystemself-check,orduringdrivingif
adrivingsituationcausestheAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡systemto
operate.Ifthe“slidingcar”icon
illuminatessteadily,verifythatthe
AdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡systemisnotmanuallydisabledbypressing
theAdvanceTrac௡withRSC௡ЉOffЉbuttonlocatedontheinstrument
panel.Ifthe“slidingcar”icon
remainssteadilyilluminated,havethe
systemservicedbyanauthorizeddealerimmediately.
