Whenstartingtheengineusingtheadvanced
key,refertoStartingtheEngine(page3-9).
Whenstartingtheenginewiththe
auxiliarykey,performthefollowing
procedure.

Removetheauxiliarykeyfromthe
advancedkey(page3-16).
MakesurethestartknobisinLOCK
position.
LOCK
Thesteeringwheellockstoprotect
againsttheft.Onlyinthispositioncanthe
keyberemoved.
Removethestartknobbypullingit
outwardwhilepressingthebuttonson
boththeleftandrightsides.
Manualtransmission
ToturnthekeyfromtheACCtothe
LOCKposition,pushthekeyinatthe
ACCposition,thenturnittotheLOCK
position.

Inserttheauxiliarykeyintheignition
switch.
