temporaryrepairofaslightlydamaged
flattireresultingfromrunningovernails
orsimilarsharpobjectsontheroad
surface.
Drivecarefully.
ØToavoiddamagetothetemporary
sparetireortothevehicle,observe
thefollowingprecautions:
Ø Donotexceed80km/h(50
mph).
NOTE
Ø Avoiddrivingoverobstacles.
Also,donotdrivethroughan
automaticcarwash.Thistire's
diameterissmallerthana
conventionaltire's,sothe
groundclearanceisreduced
about25mm(1in).
Ø Donotuseatirechainonthis
tirebecauseitwon'tfit
properly.
Yourvehicleisnotequippedwithasparetire.
Intheeventofaflattire,usetheemergency
flattirerepairkittorepairthetiretemporarily.
Whendoingtherepair,refertotheinstructions
includedintheemergencyflattirerepairkit.
Aftertemporarilyrepairingatirewiththe
emergencyflattirerepairkit,takeyourvehicle
toanAuthorizedMazdaDealertohavethetire
replaced.
Ø Donotuseyourtemporary
sparetireonanyothervehicle;
ithasbeendesignedonlyfor
yourMazda.
Ø Useonlyonetemporaryspare
tireonyourvehicleatthesame
time.
(Withlimitedslipdifferential)
Whenusingthetemporarysparetire
ontherearaxle,replaceitwitha
standardtireassoonaspossible.The
sizedifferencebetweenthespareand
thestandardtirewillcausethe
limitedslipdifferentialto
malfunction.
NOTE
(WithTirePressureMonitoringSystem)
Atirepressuresensorisnotinstalledtothe
temporarysparetire.Thewarninglightwill
flashcontinuouslywhilethetemporaryspare
tireisbeingused(page5-31).
