AuthorizedMazdaDealercanfully
evaluatethesesystemstoseethat
theywillworkinanysubsequent
accident.Drivingwithanexpended
ordamagedairbagorpretensioner
unitwillnotaffordyouthenecessary
protectionintheeventofany
subsequentaccidentwhichcould
resultinseriousinjuryordeath.
Donotremoveinteriorairbagparts:
Removinganycomponentssuchas
thefrontseats,frontdashboard,the
steeringwheelorpartsonthefront
andrearwindowpillarsandalong
theroofedge,containingairbag
partsorsensorsisdangerous.These
partscontainessentialairbag
components.Theairbagcould
accidentallyactivateandcause
seriousinjuries.Alwayshavean
AuthorizedMazdaDealerremove
theseparts.
Disposeoftheairbagproperly:
Improperdisposalofanairbagora
vehiclewithliveairbagsinitcanbe
extremelydangerous.Unlessall
safetyproceduresarefollowed,injury
canresult.AskanAuthorizedMazda
Dealerhowtosafelydisposeofanair
bagorhowtoscrapanairbag
equippedvehicle.
