NOTE
Ifthebatteryisdisconnectedorafuseis
replaced,theDSCwillbeinoperable.Inthis
case,theDSCOFFindicatorlightflashesand
theTCS/DSCindicatorlightilluminates.
TomaketheDSCoperable,dothefollowing
procedurewiththebatteryconnected.

TurntheignitionswitchtotheONposition.
Thisindicatorlightstaysonforafew
secondswhentheignitionswitchisturned
totheONposition.IftheTCSorDSCis
operating,theindicatorlightflashes.
Turnthesteeringclockwisefully,thenturn
itcounterclockwisefully.
3. MakesuretheDSCOFFindicatorgooff.

TurntheignitionswitchtotheOFF
position,thenturnittotheONposition
again.
Ifthelightstayson,theTCSorDSCmay
haveamalfunctionandtheymaynot
operatecorrectly.Takeyourvehicletoan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.
5.
MakesuretheTCS/DSCindicatorlight
goesoff.
qDSCOFFIndicatorLightí
IftheTCS/DSCindicatorlightandtheDSC
OFFindicatorlightremainilluminatedeven
afterturningtheignitionswitchtotheON
position,consultanAuthorizedMazdaDealer.
qCruiseMainIndicatorLight
(Amber)/CruiseSetIndicator
Light(Green)
Thisindicatorlightstaysonforafew
secondswhentheignitionswitchisturned
totheONposition.
ItalsocomesonwhentheDSCOFF
switchispressedandTCS/DSCis
switchedoff(page5-27).
IfthelightstaysonwhentheTCS/DSCis
notswitchedoff,takeyourvehicletoan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.Thedynamic
stabilitycontrolmayhaveamalfunction.
Theindicatorlighthastwocolors.
CruiseMainIndicatorLight(Amber)
Theindicatorlightilluminatesamber
whentheON/OFFswitchispressedand
thecruisecontrolsystemisactivated.
