ActiveAdaptiveShift(AAS)
automaticallycontrolsthetransmission
shiftpointstobestsuittheroadconditions
anddriverinput.Thisoptimizesengine
performanceandimprovesdriving
comfort.Whencorneringthevehicle,
AASmodewillholdthetransmissionin
thegearthevehiclewasinbeforeentering
thecurve,allowingthevehicletobe
acceleratedfromthesamegearafter
exitingthecurve.

Theignitionswitchcannotbeturnedfrom
theACCtotheLOCKpositionwhenthe
shiftleverisnotinP.
qManualShiftMode
Ifthedriveracceleratesrapidly,or
acceleratesanddeceleratesrapidlyby
operatingtheacceleratorandbrakepedal
foracertainperiodoftimewhilethe
selectorleverisintheDposition,AAS
modecouldactivate.Whenthisoccurs,
AASmodewillmaintainthetransmission
intheoptimumgearandthedrivermay
sensethatthetransmissionisnotshifting,
howeverthisdoesnotindicatean
abnormality.
Thismodegivesyouthefeelofdrivinga
manualtransmissionvehiclebyoperating
theshiftleverandallowsyoutocontrol
enginerpmandtorquetotherearwheels
muchlikeamanualtransmissionwhen
morecontrolisdesired.
