ChargingSystemLight
Thislightshowsthestatusoftheelectricalcharg-
ing system. The light should come on when the
WARNING!
A malfunctioning catalytic converter, as referenced
above,canreachhighertemperaturesthaninnormal
operating conditions. This can cause a fire if you
driveslowlyorparkoverflammablesubstancessuch
as dry plants or wood or cardboard, etc. This could
result in death or serious injury to the driver, occu-
pantsorothers.
ignitionswitchisfirstturnedONandremainonbriefly
asabulbcheck.Ifthelightstaysonorcomesonwhile
driving, turn off some of the vehicle’s non-essential
electrical devices or increase engine speed (if at idle). If
the charging system light remains on, it means that the
vehicle is experiencing a problem with the charging
system.ObtainSERVICEIMMEDIATELY.Seeanautho-
rizeddealer.

eitherofthetwotripodometersettings.TripAorTripB
willappearwheninthetripodometermode.Pushinand
If jump starting is required, refer to “Jump Starting

to 0 miles or kilometers. The odometer must be in trip
modetoreset.
The arrow will flash with the exterior turn signal
whentheturnsignalleverisoperated.
