Spare Tire Stowage
Spare Tire Removal
The compact spare tire is stowed under the rear of the  Lift up the cover and fit the jack-handle over the drive
vehicle by means of a hook/basket mechanism. To re-  nut. Rotate the nut to the left until you can remove the
moveorstowthecompactspare,usethejackhandleto       swivelhookfromthestowagebasket.Swingthebasket
rotatethe“sparetiredrive”nut.Thenutislocatedunder      downtoremovethecompactsparetire.
therearscuffplateattherightrearofthecargoarea,just
insidetheliftgateopening.
CAUTION!
The hook is designed for use with the jack handle
only.Useofanairwrenchorotherpowertoolsisnot
recommendedandcandamagethewinch.
