FluidLevelCheck–BrakeMasterCylinder
Thefluidlevelinthemastercylindershouldbechecked
whenever the vehicle is serviced, or immediately if the
“Brake Warning Light” is on. If necessary, add fluid to
bringleveltothefullmarkonthesideofthereservoirof
thebrakemastercylinder.Besuretocleanthetopofthe
mastercylinderareabeforeremovingthecap.Withdisc
brakes,thefluidlevelcanbeexpectedtofallasthebrake
pads wear. Brake fluid level should be checked when
padsarereplaced.Ifthebrakefluidlevelisabnormally
low,checkthesystemforleaks.
