TheABScannotpreventthenaturallawsofphys-
icsfromactingonthevehicle,norcanitincrease
braking or steering efficiency beyond that af-
fordedbytheconditionofthevehiclebrakesand
tiresorthetractionafforded.
The ABS cannot prevent accidents, including
those resulting from excessive speed in turns,
following another vehicle too closely, or hydro-
planing.Onlyasafe,attentive,andskillfuldriver
canpreventaccidents.

ous.Asignificantdecreaseinbrakingperformanceor
vehicle stability during braking may occur. It will
