2. Atabout6to12in(15to30cm)abovethelatchplate,
graspandtwistthebeltwebbing180degreestocreatea
foldthatbeginsimmediatelyabovethelatchplate.
WARNING!
Therearcenterlap/shoulderbeltisequippedwitha
lockoutfeaturetoensurethattherearseatbackisin
thefullyuprightandlockedpositionwhenoccupied.
If the rear seatback is not fully upright and locked
and the rear center lap/shoulder belt can be pulled
out of the retractor, the vehicle should immediately
betakentoyourauthorizeddealerforservice.Failure
tofollowthiswarningcouldresultinseriousorfatal
injury.
3. Slidethelatchplateupwardoverthefoldedwebbing.
Thefoldedwebbingmustentertheslotatthetopofthe
latchplate.
4.
Continuetoslidethelatchplateupuntilitclearsthe
foldedwebbing.
