This indicator will illuminate when the front
swaybarisdisconnected.
WARNING!
The Electronic Stability Control (ESC) cannot pre-
vent the natural laws of physics from acting on the
vehicle, nor can it increase the traction afforded by
prevailingroadconditions.ESCcannotpreventacci-
dents,includingthoseresultingfromexcessivespeed
inturns,drivingonveryslipperysurfaces,orhydro-
planing.Onlyasafe,attentive,andskillfuldrivercan
prevent accidents. The capabilities of an ESC-
equippedvehiclemustneverbeexploitedinareck-
lessordangerousmannerwhichcouldjeopardizethe
user’ssafetyorthesafetyofothers.

System(BAS)WarningLight

TheElectronicStabilityProgram(ESP)/Brake
Assist System (BAS) warning light in the in-
strument cluster comes on when the ignition
switchisturnedtotheONposition.Thelight
shouldgooutwiththeenginerunning.IftheESP/BAS
warning light comes on continuously with the engine
running, a malfunction has been detected in either the
ESP or the BAS system. If this light stays illuminated,
