WhenexitingOff-roadguidance,thesystem
recalculatestherouteandrevertstoOn-road
guidance.
Dynamicrouteguidancewillcalculatean
alternativeroutetoavoidatrafficevent,when
thesystemreceivesaneventwarning.The
systemcalculatesanewrouteforallsections.
However,ifanywaypointsareset,thesystem
calculatesforthenextwaypoint.
Note:TMCisnotavailableinOff-road
navigationmode.
NEWROUTE
Anewroutemessagewillbedisplayedinthe
Touchscreenif:
Allowsthefollowingrouteentrymethods:
Map.
Previous.
DistanceandBearing.
Coordinates.
Aneventonthecurrentrouteisserious,for
exampleaclosedroad.
Thenewrouteisshorterthatthecurrent
route.
Enteringdestinationsisachievedusingthe
samemethodsasinOnroadnav.
Thecurrentroutehasnotbeen
recalculatedwithinthelast5minutes.
Thismessagewillbedisplayedfor5minutes.
Ifthenewrouteisnotaccepted,theNavigation
systemwillcontinuewiththecurrentroute.
LOADROUTE
LoadrouteallowsapreviouslystoredOff-road
routetoberecalled.TouchingtheLoadRoute
softkeywillbringupalistofstoredroutes;
touchthedesiredroutetoselect.Whenloading
aroute,thecurrentvehiclelocationisstoredas
thestartingpoint,shownastheletterSonthe
mapscreen.
OFF-ROADNAVIGATION
ThesystemcanbeswitchedbetweenOn-road
andOff-roadnavigationbypressingthefascia
NAVbuttontwice,fromanywhereinthe
system,thenselectingOnroadorOffroad ,as
required.TheNavigationsoftkeyontheTouch
screenHomemenudisplaysOnroadNAVor
OffroadNAV,whicheveristhecurrent
Navigationmode.
ROUTEOPTIONS
Allowsaccesstothefollowingcommands:
EditRoute
Off-roadnavigationmapsaresimilartothe
on-roadmapsbuthaveadditionalfeaturesand
information,suchasalargecompassdisplay,
heading,altitude,latitudeandlongitudeetc.
Thesemenuitemsareidenticalinoperationto
theOn-roadmenus.
Amaximumof20off-roadroutescanbe
stored.Whenthemaximumisreached,the
NewRoutesoftkeywillnolongerbeactive.
WhenswitchingtoOff-roadnavigationmode
duringOn-roadguidance,thecurrent
highlightedroutewillberemovedfromthe
mapandOn-roadguidancewillbesuspended.
StopGuidance
Allowsaselectedroutetobecancelled.Touch
thesoftkeytocancelguidance.Allwaypoints
andiconswillberemoved.
Waypointsanddestinationiconswillremain
displayed.Thedestinationismarkedwitha
doublecircle.
