puncturedtyre.Evenifthepunctured
tyrehasnotdeflated,itisunsafeto
use,asthetyremaydeflatesuddenly

REPLACEMENTTYRES
USINGWINTERTYRES
Inmanycountries,legislationexiststhat
requirestheuseofwintertyresduring
specifiedperiodsoftheyear.
Alwaysfitreplacementtyresofthe
sametype,andwhereverpossible,of
thesamemakeandtreadpattern.
Theloadandspeedindexratingson
allreplacementtyresmustbe,at
least,thesamespecificationasthe
OriginalEquipment(OE).Ifindoubt,
consultyourDealer/Authorised
Repairer.
M+S(mudandsnow)tyreshavearecognised
levelofwinterperformanceandneednotbe
replaced.TheM+Smarking,onthetyre
sidewall,indicatesan'allseason'tyredesigned
foruseallyearround,includingcold
temperatures,snowandice.
Donotrotatetyresaroundthevehicle.
Iftheuseoftyresnotrecommendedby
LandRoverisunavoidable,makesure
youread,andfullycomplywith,the
tyremanufacturer’sinstructions.
Thissymbolidentifiesdedicated
wintertyres,whichcanbefittedif
optimumwintertractionis
required,orthevehicleistobe
usedinmoreextremewinter
conditions.

Note:Adedicatedwintertyreoftenhasalower
speedratingthantheOriginalEquipment(OE)
tyre,andthevehiclemustthereforebedriven
withinthespeedlimitationofthetyre.Consult
yourDealer/AuthorisedRepairerforfurther
information.Inmarketsthatrequireatyre's
maximumspeedlabeltobefitted,thetyre's
maximumspeedlabelshouldbeplacedwithin
thedriver'sfieldofvision.Theselabelscanbe
obtainedfromthetyredealer.
Whenthetreadhasworndownto
approximately2mm,wearindicatorsstartto
appearatthesurfaceofthetreadpattern.This
producesacontinuousbandofrubberacross
thetread,asavisualreminder.
Thetyrepressuresindicatedonthetyre
informationlabel,areforuseinallconditions
ontheOEtyres.Ifareducedspeedratingtyre
isfitted,therecommendedpressuresareonly
suitableforusebelow160km/h(100mph).
