Panicalarm:
Note:Whenthedoorisopened,thealarmwill
begintosound.Tosilencethealarm,dockthe
Smartkey.
Pressandholdfor3seconds(orpress
timeswithin3seconds)toactivate

thehornandthehazardlamps.
Thevehiclecanalsobelockedandunlocked,
frominsidethevehicle,bypressingthe
appropriatebuttonmountedontheInstrument
panel.
Onceactiveformorethan5seconds,
thealarmcanbecancelledbypressing
thebuttonandholdingfor3seconds
(orpressing3timeswithin3seconds).
Thepanicalarmwillalsobecancelled
ifavalidSmartkeyispresentwhenthe
START/STOPbuttonispressed.
STEERINGCOLUMNLOCK
Theelectricsteeringcolumnlockwill
lock/unlockwhenthevehicleis
locked/unlocked.

Approachillumination:
Whenapproachingthevehicleduring
darkness,presstoswitchonthe
approachillumination.Pressagainto
turntheapproachlampsoff.The
approachilluminationperiodsetatthe
factoryis30seconds.Thisdelay
periodmaybeconfiguredtoprovide
illuminationlastingbetween0and240
seconds.See31,INSTRUMENT
PANELMENU.
Ifanymalfunctionofthesteeringcolumnlock
occurs,amessagewillbedisplayedinthe
Messagecentre.Ifthisoccurs:
1.
Fromthedriver'sseat,lockandthen
unlockthevehicleusingtheSmartkey.
2.
Tryagaintounlockthesteeringcolumn
lock,byturningthesteeringwheelgently
totheleftandrightwhilelockingandthen
unlockingthevehicleusingtheSmartkey.
3.
Iftheproblempersists,seekqualified
assistance.
Note:Insomemarkets,asecondpressof
thebuttonwillturnontheheadlampsand
reversinglamps.Athirdpresswillbe
requiredtoturnthelampsoff.
DRIVE-AWAYLOCKING
Drive-awaylockingautomaticallylocksallof
thedoorswhenthevehicleisinmotion.This
featurecanbeenabled/disabledviatheVehicle
Set-Upmenu(see31,INSTRUMENTPANEL).

cover.

Removetheemergencykeybladeand
unfold.
Note:Pressingthelockorunlockbuttononthe
SmartkeywilloverrideDrive-awaylockingfor
thecurrentjourney.

Fullyinserttheemergencykeybladeto
removethecover.

Fullyinserttheemergencykeybladeinto
thelockandrotatetounlockthedoor.
REMOTEKEYFOBBATTERY
REPLACEMENT
Whenthebatteryneedsreplacing,therewillbe
asignificantdecreaseintheeffectiverangeand
amessagewillbedisplayedintheMessage
centre.

Locatetherearofthelockcoverusingthe
tabsandclosethecover.
Removetheemergencykeybladefromthe
