(P)selectedandtheparkingbrakeapplied.

button.
Iftheenginefailstostart,donot
continuecrankingasthiswilldischarge
thebattery.Itmayalsodamagethe
catalyticconverterduetounburntfuel
passingthroughtheexhaust.

Itisnotadvisabletoswitchoffthe
enginewhilethevehicleismoving.
However,ifasituationariseswhere
engineswitchoffisurgent,the

Oncetheenginehasstarted,thefootpedalcan
bereleasedifitsafetodoso.
