HEADRESTRAINTS
Headrestraintsmayberemoved,ifrequired
(forexample,tofitlargerchildseats).Raisethe
headrestrainttoitsuppermostpositionand
pressthelockingcollar.Lifttherestraintoutof
theseatback.
Head

Adjusttheheadrestraintsothatthe
topoftheheadrestraintisabovethe
centrelineofthehead.Anincorrectly
adjustedheadrestraintincreasesthe
riskofdeathorseriousinjuryinthe
eventofacollision.
Makesuretheheadrestraintisrefittedbefore
theseatisusedbyapassenger.
Torefittheheadrestraint,makesureitisfacing
thecorrectdirection;insertthestemsofthe
headrestraintintothesocketsandpushit
downwardsuntilatleastthefirstclick.
Donotdrive,orcarrypassengerswith
theheadrestraintsremovedfrom
occupiedseats.Theabsenceofa
correctlyadjustedheadrestraint
increasestheriskofneckinjuryinthe
eventofacollision.

Neveradjusttheheadrestraintswhile
thevehicleisinmotion.
Alwaysstorearemovedheadrestraint
securely.
