Openthetetheranchorcover.

Clipthetetherstraptothe

anchorasshown.

Ifthetetherstrapisclipped

incorrectly,thechildsafety

seatmaynotberetainedproperly

intheeventofacollision.

RefertotheInstallingchild

safetyseatsincombinationlapandshoulderbeltseatingpositions

sectionofthischapterforfurtherinstructionstosecurethechildsafety

seat.

Tightenthechildsafetyseattetherstrapaccordingtothe

manufacturer’sinstructions.

Ifthesafetyseatisnotanchoredproperly,theriskofachild

beinginjuredinacollisiongreatlyincreases.
