(Floor)-Allowsformaximumheatingbydistributingoutsideair
throughthefloorducts.However,theairwillnotbecooledbelowthe
outsidetemperaturebecausetheairconditioningdoesnotoperatein
thismode.
(Flooranddefrost)-Distributesoutsideairthroughthe
windshielddefrosterductsandthefloorducts.Heatingandair
conditioningcapabilitiesareprovidedinthismode.Foradded
customercomfort,whenthetemperaturecontrolknobisanywherein
betweenthefullhotandfullcoldpositions,theairdistributedthrough
thefloorductswillbeslightlywarmerthantheairsenttothe
windshielddefrostducts.Ifthetemperatureisabout10°C(50°F)or
higher,theairconditionerwillautomaticallydehumidifytheairto
reducefogging.

(Defrost)-Distributesoutsideairthroughthewindshield
defrosterducts.Itcanbeusedtocleariceorfogfromthewindshield.
Ifthetemperatureisabout10°C(50°F)orhigher,theairconditioner
willautomaticallydehumidifytheairtoreducefogging.

Inhumidweather,select
beforedriving.Thiswillreducefogging
onyourwindshield.Afterafewminutes,selectanydesiredposition.
Toreducehumiditybuildupinsidethevehicle,donotdrivewiththe
climatecontrolsystemintheOFForMAXA/Cposition.
Donotputobjectsunderthefrontseatthatwillinterferewiththe
airflowtotherearseats.
Removeanysnow,iceorleaves
fromtheairintakearea(atthe
bottomofthewindshieldunder
thehood).

IftheairconditionerworkswellinMAXA/C,butnotinA/C,thismay
indicatethatthecabinairfilter(ifequipped)needstobereplaced.
Ifyourvehiclehasbeenparkedwiththewindowsclosedduringhot
weather,theairconditionerwilldoamuchfasterjobofcoolingifyou
