ventingvapororifyouhearahissingsound,waituntilitstops
beforecompletelyremovingthefuelfillercap.Otherwise,fuelmay
sprayoutandinjureyouorothers.
Ifyoudonotusetheproperfuelfillercap,excessivepressureor
vacuuminthefueltankmaydamagethefuelsystemorcause
thefuelsystemtoworkimproperlyinacollision,whichmayresultin
possiblepersonalinjury.
Choosing the right fuel
UseonlyUNLEADEDFUEL.Theuseofleadedfuelisprohibitedbylaw
andcoulddamageyourvehicle.
Ifyourvehicleisaflexiblefuelvehicle(FFV),useonlyUNLEADED
FUELandETHANOL(E85).Theuseofleadedfuelisprohibitedbylaw
andcoulddamageyourvehicle.
Donotusefuelcontainingmethanol.Itcandamagecriticalfuelsystem
components.
Yourvehiclewasnotdesignedtousefuelorfueladditiveswithmetallic
compounds,includingmanganese-basedcompoundscontainingMMT.
Repairstocorrecttheeffectsofusingafuelforwhichyourvehiclewas
notdesignedmaynotbecoveredbyyourwarranty.
Octane recommendations
Donotbeconcernedifyourengine

(R+M)/2 METHOD
usingfuelwiththerecommended
