Keyless Entry System
(Not all models)
- The battery in the transmitter is
weak.
- Other vehicles or objects may be
blocking the signal.
If any door, tailgate door or engine
bonnet is not opened within 30 sec-
onds, the system will be rearmed
and all doors re-locked.
Locking doors

The weather is extremely cold.
The transmitter is close to a radio
transmittersuchasaradiostation
or an airport which can interfere
withnormaloperationofthetrans-
mitter.

Close all doors.
Pushthe"LOCK"buttononthetrans-
mitter.

At the same time, all doors lock and
theturnsignallightswillblinkonceto
indicate that the system is armed.
Only the transmitter can disarm the
armedstage. Ifthetransmitterdoes
not disarm the system, it is neces-
sary to take the following steps;
Whenthetransmitterdoesnotwork
correctly, open and close the door
with the ignition key. If you have a
problem with the transmitter, con-
tactanauthorisedHyundairepairer.
Unlocking doors

Unlockthedoorwiththekey,which
will cause, the alarm to be acti-
vated.
Insert the key in the ignition key
cylinder and turn the ignition key
to "ON" position.
1. Push the "UNLOCK" button on the
transmitter.
2. At the same time, all doors unlock
and the turn signal lights will blink
twice to indicate that the system is
disarmed.
NOTE:
Keep the transmitter away from wa-
ter or any liquid. If the keyless entry
system is inoperative due to expo-
suretowaterorliquids, itwillnotbe
covered by your manufacturer ve-
hiclewarranty.
Wait for 30 seconds.
NOTE:
Thetransmitterwillnotworkifanyof
followingoccur:
Aftercompletionofthestepsabove,
the system will be disarmed.

The ignition key is in ignition
switch.

Youexceedtheoperatingdistance
limit (10 m).
