the centre console and in the quarter
trim.Itisalsolocatedbehindthecentre
console.

Front Ashtray
These supply 12V electrical power to
operate electric accessories or equip-
ment only when the key is in the "ON"
or "ACC" position.

o Only use the power outlet when
the engine is running. Remove
the electrical appliance from the
poweroutletwhennotinuse.Fail-
ure to adhere to this advice may
resultinadischargedbatteryafter
severalhours.

The front ashtray may be opened by
pushingandreleasingtheashtray/cigar
lighter door at its top edge.
Toremovetheashtrayinordertoclean
it, the metal ash receptacle should be
removedfromtheashtraydoor.Donot
attempt to remove the entire ashtray
door assembly, or damage will result.
Instead, lift the metal ash receptacle
upward and pull it out. To reinstall it,
placeitintheproperpositionandpress
itdownandforwardtoreengagetheash
receptacle rear lip in the ashtray door.
The ashtray light will only illuminate
when the exterior body lights are
switched on.
o Do not use the power outlet to
connectelectricalaccessoriesor
equipment other than those de-
signed to operate on 12 volts.
o Someelectricaldevicescancause
electronic interference when
plugged into the power outlet.
These devices may cause exces-
sive audio noise and malfunc-
tions inother electronic systems
or devices used in your vehicle.
