heightasthetopoftheoccupant's
eyes.Forthisreason,theuseofa
cushionthatholdsthebodyaway
from the seatback is not recom-
mended.
o Do not operate vehicle with the
headrestraintsremovedasinjury
totheoccupantsmayoccurinthe
event of an accident. Head re-
straints may provide protection
against neck injuries when prop-
erlyadjusted.
To adjust the lumbar support, turn the
handle on the inboard side of the seat.
Toincreasetheamountoflumbarsup-
port, pull the lever forward. To de-
crease it, push the lever toward the
rear.

Theheadrestraintmaybetiltedforward
to three different positions by pulling
theheadrestraintforward.Toadjustthe
head restraint rearward, pull it fully for-
ward to the farthest position and re-
lease it. Adjust the head restraint so
that it properly supports the head and
neck.
